Food Security
Food accessibility to stabilize the community.
Supplemental Grocery Program
Every 1st & 3rd Thursday of the Month
2:00-6:00 PM
SGP is a bimonthly distribution of culturally-relevant groceries for San Francisco residents; the food access points are located in zip codes 94103, 94112 and 94109.
SGP started at the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic to address the growing food insecurity of seniors, families, and individuals financially burdened by the pandemic.
The program continues to mitigate the risk of hunger by providing a consistent food source in collaboration with neighborhood-based community organizations. BEC partners with the Filipino Community Center, Filipino Education Center (FEC) Galing Bata, and the Lao Seri Association to broaden the program's outreach and impact in San Francisco.
This program is funded by the San Francisco Human Services Agency.
